It helps connect patient administration, billing, submission and follow-up. It does not promise that a claim will be accepted or paid: each medical scheme applies its own rules and the member's available benefits.

The included threshold resets
Successful claims are included up to the plan's monthly threshold. Unused threshold does not roll over.

Treat claims data as sensitive practice data.
A medical aid claim can contain identity, membership, clinical and financial information. Limit access, keep records accurate and understand the responsibilities described in your agreements and applicable privacy requirements.
